Abstract

Foreman, Dave, et al., eds., Earth First! 3, no. 6 (1 August 1983). Republished by the Environment & Society Portal, Multimedia Library. http://www.environmentandsociety.org/node/6847.

In this issue of Earth First! the NO-GO ROAD movement proudly reports that the Bald Mountain Road construction through the Kalmiopsis Wilderness was brought to a halt. Also, Mary Willow discusses the importance of individuals within the EF! movement, Chim Blea continues to problematize the issue of overpopulation in the world, and John Seed contributes on “The Endangered Rain Forest.”

"[…] what was the most important thing, about Earth First! […] It’s the individual. The Person. You. Sitting here on the grass, fingers in the daisies, on these ancient new-born hills."

— Mary Willow
